playkang(이하 "개발자")은 세계 수도 학습 앱 Capital Rush(이하 "앱")를 운영하며, 「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령을 지킵니다. 이 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 왜 처리하고, 어떻게 지우는지 알려 드립니다.
1. 계정 없이 쓰는 경우
학습·게임·진도·별(⭐)·설정은 모두 이 기기 안에만 저장되며 개발자 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다. 설정 화면의 내보내기로 직접 백업 파일을 만들 수 있고, 이 파일도 기기 밖으로 자동 전송되지 않습니다.
2. 수집하는 정보 (랭킹 참여 시에만)
주간 랭킹에 참여하려고 "이름표(계정)"를 만들 때만 아래 정보를 서버에 저장합니다.

닉네임·나라·주간 점수는 랭킹 화면에서 다른 이용자에게 공개됩니다. 실명이나 개인을 알아볼 수 있는 닉네임은 쓰지 말아 주세요. 이름·전화번호·위치·연락처·사진은 수집하지 않습니다.
서버는 요청이 몰리는 것을 막기 위해 접속 IP 주소를 메모리에서 잠깐(1분 안팎) 사용하며 따로 저장하지 않습니다. 서버 앞단의 웹 서버는 보안·장애 대응을 위해 접속 기록(IP, 시각, 요청 주소)을 최대 30일 보관할 수 있습니다.
3. 앱이 연결하는 외부 서비스
- 지도 타일: 지도 화면을 그릴 때 OpenFreeMap(openfreemap.org)에서 지도 이미지를 받아 옵니다. 이때 기기의 IP 주소가 해당 서비스에 전달될 수 있으며, 개발자는 계정 정보를 전달하지 않습니다.
- 음성 읽기: 기기에 내장된 음성 기능을 쓰며 음성 데이터를 수집하지 않습니다.
현재 앱에는 광고와 행동 분석 도구가 없습니다. 앞으로 광고를 넣게 되면 광고 사업자, 전달되는 정보(예: 광고 식별자), 거부 방법을 이 방침에 먼저 반영하고 앱 업데이트 안내로 알려 드립니다.

이 업체들의 서버는 국외에 있을 수 있습니다. 정보는 암호화된 통신(HTTPS/TLS)으로 전송되며, 계정을 삭제하거나 서비스를 종료할 때까지 보관됩니다. 개발자는 개인정보를 판매하거나 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다(법령에 따른 요청은 예외).
5. 보관 기간과 파기
- 계정 정보와 점수 기록은 계정을 삭제하면 즉시 서버에서 지워집니다.
- 1년 동안 한 번도 로그인하거나 앱을 열지 않은 계정은 개인정보를 불필요하게 보관하지 않도록 점수 기록과 함께 자동으로 삭제됩니다. 기기 안의 학습 기록은 그대로 남습니다.
- 데이터베이스 백업 사본이 있는 경우 백업 주기에 따라 최대 30일 안에 함께 지워집니다.
- 서비스를 종료하면 종료 30일 전에 앱에서 알리고, 종료와 함께 모든 계정 정보를 지웁니다.
6. 계정 삭제 방법
앱에서 바로 삭제: 앱을 열고 화면 오른쪽 위의 내 캐릭터를 누르고(또는 내 정보 → 설정 → 랭킹 이름표 '관리') 계정 삭제를 누른 뒤 비밀번호를 한 번 더 입력하면 즉시 삭제됩니다.
앱을 쓸 수 없을 때: brandkang@gmail.com로 닉네임(과 가입 때 넣은 부모님 이메일)을 적어 보내 주세요. 본인 확인 후 7일 안에 삭제하고 결과를 알려 드립니다.
삭제되는 정보: 닉네임, 비밀번호 해시, 나라, 캐릭터, 부모님 이메일, 모든 주간 점수·보상 기록. 기기 안의 학습 기록은 서버에 없으므로 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다.
7. 아동의 개인정보
앱은 가족이 함께 쓰는 일반 학습 앱입니다. 계정 없이도 모든 학습 기능을 쓸 수 있고, 계정은 랭킹 참여에만 필요합니다. 만 14세 미만 아동이 계정을 만들 때는 부모님(법정대리인)이 함께 확인해 주세요. 부모님은 언제든 위 방법으로 자녀 계정의 열람·수정·삭제를 요청할 수 있으며, 부모님 동의 없이 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보가 수집된 것을 알게 되면 즉시 삭제합니다.
8. 이용자의 권리
이용자(아동의 경우 법정대리인)는 언제든 자신의 정보를 열람·정정·삭제하거나 처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 닉네임·나라·비밀번호는 앱 오른쪽 위의 내 캐릭터(이름표)에서 직접 바꿀 수 있고, 그 밖의 요청은 아래 연락처로 보내 주시면 지체 없이 처리합니다.
9. 안전성 확보 조치
- 비밀번호는 복원할 수 없는 방식(bcrypt)으로만 저장합니다.
- 모든 통신은 HTTPS로 암호화합니다.
- 로그인 시도와 점수 전송 횟수를 제한해 무단 접근과 부정 사용을 막습니다.
- 데이터베이스 접근 권한은 개발자에게만 있습니다.

11. 방침의 변경
이 방침이 바뀌면 시행 7일 전(이용자 권리에 중요한 변경은 30일 전)부터 이 페이지와 앱에서 알립니다.

playkang ("the developer") operates Capital Rush ("the app"), a world-capitals learning app. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and how to delete it.
1. Using the app without an account
Lessons, games, progress, stars (⭐) and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to the developer's server. They are removed when you uninstall the app. The export option in Settings creates a backup file that you control; it is not uploaded anywhere automatically.
2. Information we collect (only if you join the ranking)
The server stores the following only when you create a "name tag" (account) to join the weekly ranking.

Your nickname, country and weekly points are visible to other players on the ranking. Please don't use a real name or anything that identifies you as a nickname. We do not collect names, phone numbers, location, contacts or photos.
To stop request floods, the server briefly uses your IP address in memory (about one minute) without storing it. The web server in front of the app may keep access logs (IP, time, requested URL) for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
3. Outside services the app connects to
- Map tiles: maps are drawn with images loaded from OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org). Your device's IP address may be visible to that service; the developer does not send it any account data.
- Read-aloud: uses your device's built-in speech feature; no voice data is collected.
The app currently has no ads and no behavioral analytics. If ads are added in the future, this policy will first be updated to name the ad provider, the data shared (such as an advertising identifier) and how to opt out, and the change will be announced in an app update.

These providers' servers may be located outside your country. Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and is kept until you delete your account or the service ends. The developer does not sell personal information or share it with third parties, except where required by law.
5. Retention and deletion
- Account data and score records are erased from the server immediately when you delete your account.
- Accounts that nobody has signed in to or opened the app with for one year are deleted automatically, with their score records, so we don't keep data we no longer need. Learning progress on the device stays.
- Any database backup copies are removed on the backup cycle, within 30 days at most.
- If the service shuts down, we will announce it in the app 30 days ahead and delete all account data at shutdown.
6. How to delete your account
In the app: open the app, tap your character in the top-right corner (or Profile → Settings → Ranking name tag “Manage”), choose Delete account, and enter your password once more. The account is erased right away.
If you can't use the app: email brandkang@gmail.com with your nickname (and the parent's email used at sign-up, if any). After confirming the request, we delete the account within 7 days and let you know.
What is deleted: nickname, password hash, country, character, parent's email, and all weekly score and reward records. Learning progress lives only on the device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
7. Children's privacy
Capital Rush is a general learning app families use together. Every learning feature works without an account; an account is only needed for the ranking. A child under 14 should create an account together with a parent or guardian. Parents can ask at any time to review, correct or delete their child's account using the methods above, and if we learn that a child's information was collected without a parent's consent, we delete it promptly.
8. Your rights
You (or a child's parent or guardian) may access, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time. You can change your nickname, country and password yourself from your character in the top-right corner (your name tag); send any other request to the contact below and we will handle it without delay.
9. Security
- Passwords are stored only as irreversible bcrypt hashes.
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
- Sign-in attempts and score submissions are rate limited to block unauthorized access and abuse.
- Only the developer can access the database.
